NDC Technologies
Booth 109
NDC Technologies will be presenting a
broad range of Beta LaserMike in-process
and off-line dimensional monitoring systems
for wire and cable. NDC will present the
new AccuScan 6012 four-axis diameter and
ovality gauge, latest LayScan lay length
measurement system and the most recent
DCM ES-2G four-pair LAN/data cable testing
system.
The new 4-axis AccuScan 6012 gauge
is designed to provide comprehensive
measurement coverage around the
product’s circumference to instantly
detect changes in product diameter. It
performs ultra-fast diameter and ovality
measurements at 9,600 scans per second
on products up to 12mm. AccuScan 6012 is
also said to improve ovality accuracy up to
100 percent.
The latest version of LayScan measures
the lay length of twisted pairs in data
communication cables, such as Cat
5e/6/6a/7aproducts. LayScancanbeused
to measure the four pairs at the cabler or to
measure an individual pair at a twinner to
confirm the accuracy of twisted-pair cable
construction during production. A data
acquisition and control system effectively
collects and processes each lay length
and enables off-line analysis tools such
as trend charts, statistical analysis or FFT
analysis.
