Design: Protection class IP 67.

Precise Universal 3D probe for

incorporating in the milling spindle or countersunk head; the

spindle axis is positioned accurately on the workpiece or device

edges. Any approach direction (X, Y, Z-axis). The dial gauge always

deflects in the same direction and indicates the distance between

the spindle axis and the workpiece edge. As soon as the display

is set to zero, the spindle axis is positioned without prolonged

attempts; without calculations, without sign problems, precisely

on the edge of the workpiece. This reduces the additional costs.

changed without requiring a tool; recalibration of the probe is not

necessary. The enlarged travel path in combination with the tried

and tested predetermined breaking point provide additional safety.

For maximum measuring accuracy, all universal 3D probes are

individually measured and aligned during installation. For extremely

easy handling, the Universal 3D probe is available with an

integrated steep taper adaptor (Order No. 3770 0010). The steep

taper (DIN 69871, SK 40) and Universal 3D probe form one unit.

Application:

For setting workpiece zero points and length

measurements on milling and grinding machines (insulated probe

tip) as well as for centring holes and spindles.

Scope of delivery:

3D probe and short probe tip ∅ 4 mm.

Note:

The new generation probe tips are also compatible with

existing Universal 3D probes. Replacement probe tip

Universal 3D probe

Design:

Protection class IP 64. The digital 3D probe is a development

of the tried and tested mechanical 3D probe. The spindle or

countersunk head can be positioned quickly and reliably on the

reference edges. The start-up process can be traced accurately on the

digital dial gauge. The zero setting is found immediately. The machine

measuring system can be zeroed without calculations, as the spindle

axis stands directly on the probed edge. Digit height of the LC display

8.5 mm, in this way the values remain unambiguous and correctly

readable from a distance, even on large machining centres.

Function:

Switch-on and switch-off, mm/inch-conversion.

Application:

For setting workpiece zero points and length

measurements on milling and grinding machines (insulated probe tip)

as well as for centring holes and spindles.

3D probe with battery and short probe tip ∅ 4 mm.
