REVIEWS OF THE YEAR

Other Matters
• Over the last year, the gallery has hosted
14 exhibitions by artists and art
collectives from Oxfordshire and beyond,
two exhibitions of work by pupils of
St Edward’s School, and one group
exhibition of work by St Edward’s School
staff as part of Oxfordshire Art Weeks.
We were a host venue for the inaugural
Oxford Photography Festival in
September 2014.
• In March 2015, The North Wall Trust
employed two part-time development
directors to fundraise for the outreach,
production and participation strands of
North Wall activities
• Once again, The North Wall was selected
as a regional Partner Venue for the
National Theatre’s Connections Festival.
Taking place over the May Leave
Weekend, we organised a three-day
Festival to which we welcomed around
130 young people from seven schools
and youth theatre groups in Oxfordshire
and the surrounding counties. The
Festival comprised seven separate youth
performances of newly-commissioned
scripts, plus 14 practical workshops
and talks.
• June 2015 saw The North Wall
administrative team move to our new
office behind South Parade. This will
provide a permanent office space for the
General Manager and Marketing
Manager, a hot-desk for the development
staff, and a central area for meetings with
external clients.
