12 lbs. of raspberries; boil the juice with 6^ gallons of
white plain syrup (see No.7); add 3 gallons of alcohol 95
per cent. FUter.
115. Cordial Red "Water.
1 otmce of cloves.
1 do. cinnamon.
1 do. Jamaica pepper.
1 do. nutmegs; all ground to a coarse powder.
Macerate for 8 days in 3 gallons,of alcohol,95 per cent,
(see No. 5); add 7 gallons of white plain syrup. (See No.
7.) Color red with cochineal. (See No.93.) Filter.
116. Cordial, Rose.
40 drops of oil of roses.
40 do. tincture of musk.
24 do. oil of orange.
Dissolve in 3 gallons of alcohol, 95 per cent., then add 7
gallons of white plain syrup. (See No. 7.)
