Inspecting the Rotor
Measuring rotor thickness
1.
Measure the rotor thickness on the
friction surface (3 points, 120 apart).
2.
Thickness of new rotor = 1.69” (43 mm)
3.
Wear limit = 1.46” (37 mm)
4.
Replace brake rotors on both sides of axle if rotor thickness is
near or below wear limit.
