From the Editor…
Summer is finally slowing down as we have now sailed through Labor Day weekend,
and the final days are now becoming cooler on the Island. Hopefully, as we mover
further into September and October, we can still squeeze a couple warm weekends
out of Mother Nature.
Speaking of Labor Day weekend, I want to thank the weekend O.D.’s, Director Frank
and Dianne Corcoran for managing the Island so smoothly on that extended holiday.
Also, a special thank you to Debbie Siwek and all the First Mates who helped present
the Italian Dinner to the membership.
