22nd December 2017 and they are due
to be married on 22nd September 2018
in Chelsea.
Weddings
BALL/HEMMS - Daniel James Ball
(H, 2000-2005) and Caroline Lucy
Elizabeth Hemms at St Catherine’s Church,
Batheaston on 2nd September 2017. Lots of
Teddies' finest in attendance and what a fun
day we had. Dan and Caro live in Bondi and
work in Sydney - living the dream for sure.
CARTER/BURCHFIELD – Sophie Carter
(J, 1998-2002) and Jonathan Burchfield at
St Mary’s Church, Bibury on Saturday 24th
June 2017. OSE in attendance included
Tomi Akande (D, 1997-2002), Katie
Hamilton (J, 1997-2002), Jemima Gallant
(née Machin) (J, 1997-2002), Tamsyn
Harrod (J, 1999-2002), Sarah Bowers (née
Blackett) (J, 1997-2002), Victoria Putt (J,
1997-2002) and Caroline Barbrook (née
Kressner) (D, 1997-2002).
CREED/ROBERTS - Alec Creed (G,
2002-2007) and Anya Roberts on 5th
August 2017 at St Andrew’s Church, Old
Headington, Oxford. OSE in attendance
included Alec’s brothers George Creed (G,
2005-2010) and Freddie Creed (G, 2009-
2014), Rupert Nurick (E, 2000-2005), Anna
Loake (M, 2002-2007), Danni Green (D,
Congratulations
2002-2007), Felix Higginbottom (G, 2004-
2009), Will Morgan (B, 2002-2004) and Ed
Stephenson (C, 2002-2007). Members of
the Common Room and former staff in
attendance included Neville Creed, Gabs
Damiani, Anthony and Sarah Kerr-Dineen,
and Gary Howarth.
CRERAR/BALASINGHAM – Duncan
Crerar (C, 2001-2006) and Subhashini
Balasingham in March 2018 at Henley Town
Hall. This was followed by a Hindu Ceremony
in Kuala Lumpur and a beach reception in
Langkawi, Malaysia in June.
DEVENISH/LU – James Devenish (C, 2000-
2005) and Karin Lu on 1st September 2017
in Manhattan, New York. They celebrated
their marriage by having a two week trip
around Europe. OSE in attendance included
James’ brother, William (C, 1998-2003) and
sister, Daniela (M, 2002-2007).
HAMILTON/WINK - Rosie Hamilton
(K, 2000-2005) and Gavin Wink on 16th
December 2017 at St Edward’s School. OSE
in attendance included Rosie’s sister, Emma
Melling (née Hamilton) (D, 2000-2005), uncle,
James Bromet (K, 1977-1982) and aunt, Kate
Bromet (K, 1986-1988). A special mention
also goes to Keith and Jo Schindler for joining
Rosie and Gavin on their special day.
