The President reported that a telegram of con
dolence had "been sent to the Apostolic Nuncio on
the death of His Holiness Pope John XXIII and
that a letter of thanks had been received.
The following was among the business transacted :
Land Commission
Costs
The new Land Commission Rules covering costs
and procedure have not yet been signed by the
Minister and are not yet Law. The Council con
sidered a Memorandum prepared by Mr. Cyril
O'Neill on the proposed rules and it was decided
that the Secretary should request the Minister to
