the associations in Kerry and Meath are opposed to the

introduction of section 31. The bar associations of Tipperary

and Wexford are in favour of accountants' certificates. This

is apart from the views expressed by members at the meeting.

On the motion of Mr. T. A. O'Reilly the President

vacated the chair which was taken by Mr. Overend,

Vice-President. Mr. O'Reilly then proposed a vote

of thanks to the President for his distinguished

services to the profession during the year. The

motion was carried with general acclamation.

There was no further business.

Society's Dinner Dance

bourne Hotel, Dublin on November 23rd and

attracted an attendance of over 300.
