Dear Members,
I am excited to announce the addition of the
Landscape Manager position to the Founders
Course Operations staff. This position was created
to increase the focus on greenery and aesthetic
of the Course. It provides us a professional
horticulturist whose primary task will be leading
the maintenance of the Founders clubhouse
grounds, the tennis and aquatics grounds, and
the landscape beds on the Founders course. The
Landscape Manager will also provide consultation
on the landscape at Legacy.
I am pleased to announce that Amanda Kirkland
has accepted this position. She comes to us with
over 15 years of experience in various facets of
landscape/horticulture. Her work history includes
Golf Course Operations
running a plant nursery, designing containers
and plant beds, landscape installations, and
general grounds maintenance, to name a few. The
knowledge and experience that she brings with
her will be a huge asset to our department. I am
excited about the enhancements that she will
undoubtedly bring to these high profile areas of
the club!
