Womens Basketball
he Women's bas–
ketball team took
their motto,
"Continuing the
Climb", seriously this
season. Although the To–
reros finished once again
in third place in the
wee,
they improved their con–
ference record from 7-7
in '89-'90 season to 9-5
this season.
Their season finale 87-
68 crushing defeat
against fourth place Pep–
perdine added fuel to the
fire as the Toreros head–
ed into the
wee
Touma-
ment.
Sophomore Chris
Enger once again broke
the
wee
record for
blocks, breaking her own
record of 96 in the final
game. The team's dy–
namic duo: Christi Eng–
lish and Molly Hunter -
showed us their winning
r
forward style and team–
work throughout the sea-
r
son. Head coach Kathy -
Marpe had an extremely
successful season and
she is looking forward to
the tournament and next
year's team.
