Coach Sue He–
gerle-Snyder lead the
team to an overall record
of 15-16, far better than
their past record. Working
with many returning play–
ers contributed greatly to
their success on the court
Angie Rais, an Honor–
able mention in 1989 in
the
wee,
led the Toreras
in kills and solo blocks.
Suzanne Le Satz Joined
Angie to form a formida–
ble duo. Kathleen Hayes
provided depth at block–
ing spots and newcomer
Nikki Wallace provided ad–
ded assistance. Her work
was so remarkable, Nikki

was named Freshman of
the Year and named to the
2nd team All League
wee.
At the setter position,
Captain Kristi Harris and
Shannon Mutch shared
the position. Shannon
closed the season with a
high of
333
digs. At the
hitting positions, Maria
Rickard, Heather Dalley
and Kellie Logsdon car–
ried the weight for the
team. Andrea Bruns, Me–
lissa Doell, and shared
the hitting position on the
other side of the court.
As for the future for the
Toreras, it is quite high.
Only losing three seniors,
next years team should be
even stronger and a more
formidable opponent.
