INDEXIllinois Tool Works (ITW) will acquire ZF
TRW’s fasteners and components division
for around $450 million. ITW anticipates
that the deal, expected to close in the
first half of this year, will result in a slight
increase in per-share earnings in the first
year of ownership.
ZF TRW was formed by ZF Friedrichshafen
AG’s acquisition of TRW Automotive
Holdings Corporation in 2015, creating
the world’s second-largest automotive
supplier by sales.
