Chairman’s Annual Report
As we are coming to the end of another season, I would like to personally thank all our Clubs for their support over season
2015/16.
During this season, the Peterborough & District Youth League Committee have decided to move all its administration into the
Peterborough & District Football League (PDFL) Offices, because of this the Peterborough & District Youth League have taken
on an Apprentice Administrator for the upcoming season 2016/17.But I’d like to give a huge thank you to the Fixture/Referee
Secretary Mr Francis Dudley who arranges all these games and also Mrs Hazel Dudley the Secretary who works
tirelessly to maintain the overall running of the league. Thanks go to Graham Phillips the Treasurer for his dedication to the job
in hand.
I would also like to thank the rest of the committee who give up their spare time to enable you the clubs to participate in
competitive football on an organised stage.
It has been asked before if anyone can spare a couple of hours a month, please come and join us your help would be very
much appreciated.
Finally, congratulations to all County Cup, League and League Cup winners and runners-up. Commiserations to all other clubs
taking part without whom there would be no leagues.
A few reminders… PLEASE NOTE:
Ensure your
players registrations
are in on time at least 28 days before the start of the season regardless if you have a
fixture or not. Ensure you have enough
postage
on any correspondence to the League or envelopes that require returning,
All correspondence to the League
must
come from your Secretary to the League Administrator.
READ THE RULE BOOK, ADHERE TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT, RESPECT REFEREES, YOUR OPPONENTS AND THE SUPPORTERS
AND OFFICALS.
Finally thank you for participating in this League. I wish you all good luck for the coming season.
