Timeline*
Submit your University of California admission application
online by the Nov. 30 priority deadline. Be sure to print
out your application.
Log in to your application to complete your Transfer
Academic Update about five weeks after the filing period has
ended, so you can update your grades and course records.
Receive your preliminary financial aid
award letter in April.
Apply for housing by June 3.
Send your final transcript. It must be postmarked or
electronically submitted to the Office of Admissions by July 1.

Check your student portal for information
about your specific situation.
Research and apply for scholarships.
Receive your transfer admission decision starting in April.
Submit your Free Application for Federal
Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act
application (if applicable) by March 2.

Visit campus and experience a day at UC Merced.
By June 1, submit both your Statement of Intent to Register
(SIR) to commit to UC Merced, and any documents requested
by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Send your final test scores. They must be
postmarked or electronically submitted to
the Office of Admissions by July 15.
