culpture has a very long history—almost as long as the history
of people, in fact. Sculpture is one of the oldest art forms, along
with painting. Just about every society all over the world has
made some sort of sculpture. Covering the entire history of sculpture is
no easy task!
PREHISTORIC
Sculptures were an early way to communicate, before writing was even
invented. We don’t know a whole lot about prehistoric sculpture, but a
