mechanism assures an accurate cut length.
The machines are optionally o ered
with an integral chamfer cutting station
that accepts the cut-to-length parts and
chamfers them from a magazine with no
operator intervention.
The chamfer-cutting rate is determined
by the time required to cut the chamfer.
Cutting is done using carbide insert tools
and expected production is up to 90 parts
per minute when not using a positive stop
in the chamfer station and up to 50 PPM
when using a positive stop (used only
when the chamfer size is critical).

Vision Engineering’s new EVO Cam digital
microscope brings to life a macroscopic
world in great detail, with magni cation
options up to 300x and full auto focus to
ensure ultra-sharp imaging at all times.
Speci cally designed for quality control,
testing, inspection and documentation,
EVO Cam simpli es precision magni-
cation tasks allowing you to focus on the
detail.
Live video streaming and full-HD
1080p/60fps image quality unlocks the
power of digital imaging, with integral
image capture direct to USB memory
stick (without a PC) providing ultimate
simplicity. An in-built LED ringlight and a
large 30:1 optical zoom provide the ability
to view whole samples or the smallest
detail at the touch of a button. A wide
range of high quality stand options allows
EVO Cam to be con gured for di erent
work environments.
A range of objective lens options ensure
results for any application, whether for
high magni cation, high precision detail
work, or for manipulation, re-work and
assembly tasks requiring an extra-long
working distance.
Vision Engineering’s latest addition to
its range of optical inspection solutions
provides clarity with simplicity, so you can
be con dent in your results.

Stand: 10F22
At both its stands, WAFIOS will be
demonstrating selected highlights, which
can already be categorised as“Industry 4.0”.
These include iQcontrol for in-process
spring length control, iQautopitch for
automatic correction of spring pitch
and diameter, and iQsmartbend which
optimises the performance of bending
processes and is being presented to the
public for the rst time.
Alongside the new developments, WAFIOS
will be speci cally looking to speak to
customers and visitors about concepts,
ideas and approaches relating to the
networked production processes of the
future (Smart Factory).
The company will also be presenting ideas
and solutions on selected machines from
the elds of springs, wires and tubes.
The most important industry event of
the year will, of course, also feature new
machines and world premieres.
WAFIOS Tube Automation will present
itself for the rst time as part of the
WAFIOS group at the Tube show. The focus
of its cooperation is on the development
of future-orientated automation solutions
in the eld of tube bending technology.
One highlight of this year’s exhibition
will be the automatic production cell
for uid systems, consisting of a newly
developed separation system and the
latest machinery generation from the
BMZ line, plus robot technology and an
end-working machine from the RU line of
WAFIOS Tube Automation.
The exhibition will also see the world
premiere of the stabiliser bar bending
machine WAFIOS RBV 60 HD, which boasts
a nominal bending performance of 30kN.
WAFIOS Production Technology, the
subsidiary founded in 2015 for automation
solutions in the eld of wire bending
and stabiliser bar production, will be
presenting a cell solution in conjunction
with wire bending machines for the rst
time.
Once again, one of the main focuses of the
machine range will be the compression
and torsion spring coiling machines,
featuring numerous world premieres –
including the rst presentation of the
entire FULx6 line with FUL 26 and 46, as
well as new machine developments in the
FMU line, both in the upper and lower wire
diameter ranges.
The public will also have the chance to
see the CNC dual-head bending machine
BMS 25, an innovation from the range of
multi-head bending machines, for the rst
time.
