www.read-eurowire.comto develop synergies with its customers
and suppliers, and to achieve more
ambitious goals through a process of
industrial reorganisation, not only in terms
of technology, but through the research
and introduction of quali ed personnel –
one of the company’s strengths.
The company also has the material
knowledge and the ability to develop
products with technical characteristics
suitable for di erent applications.
Experience and know-how has allowed
the
development
of
the
division
dedicated to the production of wire for
mechanical use, particularly developing
speci c machinery for the processing of
magnesium alloys and silicon.
Travar Tec is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
certi ed and is undergoing OHSAS 18001
certi cation.

Stand: 09F38
Customers in more than 150 countries
worldwide have relied on Traxit products
and know-how, for more than 135 years.
With its new ‘G’ range of calcium-based dry
powder lubricants, the company supplies
products with the lowest possible dust
levels during handling from the packaging
to the die box while maintaining a positive
adhesion during the drawing process. As
a result the nal drawn wire is clean, with
minimal residuals.
Cortrax 12 is the newest emulsion
development for drawing high-carbon
galvanised or phosphate coated wire.
Traxit turned its attention to minimising
the concentration during use.
This ensures the bene ts of low
susceptibility against bacteria, foam and
consumption. The wire surface reaches a
very uniform clean nish with the lowest
conceivable amount of residue.
Cortrax 2 is the newest emulsion
development for drawing LC and HC
bright wire. This emulsion has special use
on welding wire. ZEL 512 is a boron-free,
non-reactive salt coating with an amount
of polymer and special additives.
The bene ts are a short drying time,
a homogeneous crystalline layer, and
a new and veri ed Process Protection
System (PPS). ZEL 503 is a boron free and
phosphate free salt coating for patented
CHQ wire. After bright annealing, the wire
can be coated inline with ZEL503 (new
PPS) and skin pass drawn.
The total Traxit programme contains
more
than
300
articles
including
universal products and custom-made
solutions for special processes. Its supply
network of experienced sales agents and
international warehouses provide a full
service package for its clients.
Traxit’s research and development centre
and global laboratory facilities ensure the
highest possible working standards and
quality systems.

Stand: 10F60
The Troester Group is a worldwide
manufacturer of complete extrusion
systems for the cable industry.
Troester will present its equipment for the
production of LV, MV, HV and EHV cables,
comprising CCV and VCV lines, insulation
and sheathing lines as well as single
machines and components for e cient
cable production.
The company will introduce the latest
generation of extruders, type PXS, a
high performance extruder to be used in
insulation and sheathing lines.
In addition it will present solutions for
upgrading existing CV lines, like Trendseal,
a exible end seal able to increase the
e ciency of every kind of CV line, a new
edition of the sag measuring unit Trisag
3.0 and also heating tubes with improved
energy e ciency, splice boxes and other
CV tube components.
X-Compound, a member of the Troester
Group, will also be present on the stand
to present its kneader technology for the
continuous compounding of HFFR (LSOH),
PVC, XLPE, semi-conductive materials and
EPR/EPDM.
X-Compound is specialised in the planning
and construction of complete systems
for the compounding of plastics with
the process steps conveying, melting,
dispersing, mixing and degassing.

Stand: 11B40
Joachim Uhing will be exhibiting product
models and studies, including a simple
winding assembly which can synchronise
the winding speed of the spool and
the traversing speed without requiring
electronic components.
The rolling ring study demonstrates how
the linear running direction of the gear
can be changed individually and without
mechanical intervention while the shaft
continues rotating in the same direction.
A wide range of stroke speeds can be
set almost continuously with the shaft
rotating at a constant speed.
The pitch can be changed with a stepping
motor controlled by data from connected
sensors or by direct user input.
Another rolling ring gear attraction to
be showcased is a solution for travelling
winders. This o er speci cally addresses
manufacturers of winding material that
must not be deformed during traversing.
The
non-contact
ange
detecting
system is another invention of the
engineering company headquartered in
Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, renowned
for its rolling ring drives. FA II, the
second generation of this system, will be
presented in Düsseldorf.
