Enkotec
Stand: 15C18
Enkotec continues to present news
within high-performance machinery for
nail production. This year the Danish
manufacturer will display the following
operating machines:
The company will present its new paper
collator, the ENKOllator type CTS01, which
has been designed for making collated
sticks of nails with three head types, full
round head, D-head, and o set head, with
a speed of up to 2,300 nails per minute.
The collator has a very regular footprint,
with
all
components
integrated,
and allows easy access to machine
maintenance by removable front panels.
The collation angle is obtained by easy
adjustment at the spindle insertion
system. The machine features a new type
of stick cutting system with minimal wear
and almost no adjustment.
New ENKOline 2,500npm and 28mm
nails with Baussmann wire coil collator.
Following a recent agreement with
Baussmann Collated Fasteners GmbH,
Enkotec has exclusive rights to sell and
service its wire coil collator worldwide. The
companies will jointly exhibit a high-speed
in-line nail manufacturing line.
The exhibit will include the ENKOllator,
type CWC01, with packaging machine,
type PCC01, both engineered and built
by Baussmann. Using an automatic cutter
and coiling units, the wire coil collator can
produce bright and electro galvanised
wire welded coil nails with smooth shank,
ring shank, screw shank and spiral shank.
The in-line system will also feature the
brand-new model within the high-volume
ENKOnail+ series of rotary nail machines,
the NP02, producing 2,500 nails per
minute of diameter ø1.8 to 2.5mm and
lengths as low as 28 to 57mm.
The NP02 machine will be set up with an
ENKOroll thread-rolling machine, type
TA01, designed for making screw shank or
annular nail pro les.

EDER Engineering
Stand: 10A40-02
EDER Engineering-Austria has been
supplying technically leading die-tool
processing equipment and special dies to
the international wire and cable industry
for more than 65 years. It now exports
98 per cent of its output worldwide,
directly
and
via
its
network
of
international representatives.
At wire 2014 EDER will o er a variety of
the latest technological developments
in drawing die-tool working machines,
allowing the users to bene t by longer
life of the die and higher tonnage drawn;
accurate reconditioning of the die;
durability with minimal maintenance
costs; lower operational cost; reduction
of manpower (due to the high degree
of built-in automation); easy operation;
and the experience and proven after-sale
support of EDER-Austria.
On display will be:
•
Leading die-tool processing machines
for the repair and/or production of
ultrahard tungsten carbide, diamond,
PCD precision die-tools (standard,
semi-automatic and fully automatic
conceptions)
Newest ENKOnail machine with ENKOpack
system. The latest ENKOnail machine, type
MM01, intended for small and midsize
capacity needs, will be running together
with
Enkotec’s
movable
packaging
machine, ENKOpack type NCP02.

Euro Extrusion
Stand 09B74
Euro Extrusion o ers a wide range of
complete insulation and sheathing lines,
combined with the most up-to-date
software technology.
It will be exhibiting:
Molten salts pressurised curing equip-
ment: It is possible to process all materials
used in the cable eld, apart from
link-crossed polyethylene (XLPE), because
of mechanical and cooling reasons at end
of the production cycle. This equipment
is mainly used when maximum exibility
is required and is particularly suitable for
production of special cables etc.
Great advantages are o ered by the
possibility of adjusting pressure and
temperature independently. Pressurisation
is by both compressed air and nitrogen.
Water lling is not allowed. In case of
insulation with silicone rubber (1mm²),
maximum speed is 250-300mpm.
When processing traditional elastomers,
speed equals 50-60 per cent of similar
steam vulcanising systems (that is,
150-200 mpm). Cable diameters can be
from 1.2mm to 40mm with the basic
equipment.
