One of the main presented products will
be Fortuna Federn’s WIM CNC and COM
CNC spring production machinery lines.
Through very strong development in the
last year, the WIM CNC lines have reached
a high in spring and wire form production.
The
specially
designed
software
SpringMaster gives a lot of possibilities
where all servo controlled axes can
be controlled independently or simul-
taneously. Through a wide choice of
models or custom made projects, all wire
diameters up to 100mm can be covered in
the cold or in the hot coiling section.
COM CNC spring making machines have
been upgraded with the latest developed
SpringDesigner software with many
additional possibilities like processing of
external input signals or complete control
of all servo axes.
Fortuna will also be presenting its popular
LDT coiling line for the production of
agricultural
double
torsion
springs
(spring tines) which has been completely
redesigned and improved.
In connection with its semi-automatic wire
forming machine line BEM CNC users are
able to make the complete product.
The company also has a choice of
semi-automatic looping machines for
almost all diameters.

In 2013, FUHR moved into its new
headquarters with an additional 70 per
cent production capacity. An integrated
state-of-the-art paint shop, as well as
a separately air-conditioned grinding
facility, both guarantee workmanship
at the highest levels. Founded in 1946,
FUHR develops and produces rolling
mills mainly for cold forming applications,
eg the automotive, electrical, food,
textile and building industry. The scope
of delivery encompasses the entire
range from stand-alone units to turnkey
