tailor-made telescopes, cooling troughs,
multipasses, dryers and water tanks
for every kind of extrusion line. The
customer’s product diameter range can be
from less than 1mm to over 300mm. This
is possible for rectangular sizes, and the
design is for hot and cold water sections.
Heat exchangers can also be integrated.
The requirements for reducing costs in
energy consumption in cable and tube
production are considered in the design
of the cooling systems by using insulation,
closed water loops, reducing air pressure
consumption, using longlife material, and
reducing wear of product support.
The company is designing for optimum
of overall equipment e ectiveness and
manufacture for minimum downtimes
in case of product change with bypass
systems. All kind of requested materials for
sheaves, drums and water supply piping
can be delivered.

Last year saw Gur l expand its business
and introduce new products to the
market. It will also be starting construction
of a new 30,000m
2
state-of-the-art factory
during the year.
By adding new lamination and slitting
lines, the company reached its target
production of 3,000 tons. The installation
of new high-tech spool winding lines saw
the company increase its spool winding
capacity by three times.
Gur l exported 40 per cent of its turnover,
operating in 25 countries worldwide.
The company is also expecting to increase
its product range by 50 per cent in 2014
due to demand for the following products:
PP identi cation tape, semi-conductive
tape, non-conductive tape, non-woven
tape, water blocking (swellable) tape, craft
paper, crepe paper, breglass yarn, rip
cord yarn, copolymer coated aluminium
tape, air wipes, and ABS cable spools.
