Inhol and co-exhibitor Melos are jointly
exhibiting after starting their cooperation
earlier this year in the eld of speciality
premium compounds and commodity
compounds.
Concerning speciality compounds, Inhol
has the ability to design compounds for
relatively small volumes as well as for
bulk consumption. Inhol has partnered
with leading wire and cable factories and
the best European and North American
toll-compounding companies to serve
customers directly or through a dedicated
team of agents.
The driving force behind Inhol is the
active pursuit of innovative product
development for markets like aerospace,
marine, commercial vessels, o -shore,
rapid
transit,
railways
and
other
applications. The range of compounds
include LSFOH, thermoplastic, radiation
and moisture cross-linkable as well as
some CV curable materials. All compounds
meet the REACH and RoHS directives.
Inhol is a ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certi ed
company.
Inhol will also show its state-of-the-art
PTL-brand hot-set oven and abrasion
machine designed to meet ISO 6722-1
requirements. Heat-shrink specialists will
be available to explain Inhol’s technology
package.
Melos o ers a range of sheathing and
insulation materials under the brand
Mecoline, as well as bedding compounds
for di erent types of cables. It actively
develops new formulations for Mecoline
cable compounds, which are used in a
wide variety of di erent applications for
insulation and sheathing. For this purpose
Melos has installed laboratories with
sophisticated equipment and experienced
research and development employees.
Flame resistance of the entire cable
construction is guaranteed by using
appropriate formulations to meet stringent
safety and environmental standards.
Bedding compounds from Melos are
halogen-free and eco-friendly.
In suitably designed cables, Melos
bedding compounds act as a perfect
barrier preventing interaction (migration)
between the sheating and insulation.
Modern production facilities in Melle,
Germany, allow it to manufacture
numerous compounds according to
customer speci cations. All products are
subject to stringent quality control and
manufacturing procedures certi ed by
independent institutes.
