At the

time of writing, the best-known casualty of

the Ajuntament’s crusade against late-

night noise, but it’s hoped that closure

isn’t permanent if they can sort out the

soundproofing. If and when it does re-

open, it’s unmissable – a fabulous 1903-

era ballroom and concert venue where old

and young alike are put through their

rumba and cha-cha-cha steps, with DJs

kicking in after midnight on an assorted

roster of club nights.
