Get in the habit of making healthy choices. Eat a lot of different foods instead of always eating one thing all

the time. Taking care of your body is one of the best things you can do for yourself!

Getting older means you’ll be making more and more decisions for yourself. You’ll be

choosing how you want to live the rest of your life. How you eat is an important decision

to make.

The decision is yours! Start making some small choices and build up from there. Eat

one more fruit or vegetable every day. Try new things. Then add more fruits and veggies,

and some whole grains. Pretty soon, you’ll be eating healthy and feeling great.

RESEARCH PROJECT

Go online and look up some ideas or recipes for healthy snacks, and pick one that you

think you’d like. The next time you get food, buy the ingredients to make it! Do you like

the snack you picked? Could you get into the habit of eating it more? What makes the

snack you picked more healthy than junk food snacks like chips or cookies?
