Modular bundling lines
OMP has introduced a new range of
bundling lines, with modular design and
tailored to customers’ needs. With over
20 years’ experience in bundle forming
systems, the company put all of its
know-how into this new series, which
can suit any production environment,
and can handle hexagonal, square and
rectangular bundles, up to 3,500kg in
weight.
The modular approach allows short
delivery times and faster installation.
Operations that in the past took two
different teams (mechanical and
electrical) for several days of installation,
now can be managed by a specialised
technician alone, enabling the customer
to have the bundling system ready and
productive in a short time.
The electronic part is managed
with a PLC system with remote bus
controlled modules. This solution allows
a reduction in the number of cables,
grouping all passages on the frame
of the machine, avoiding the need to
modify the structure of the factory floor
where the machine will be positioned.
These advantages are clearly visible
during installation and also while the
machine is running, delivering fast and
simple management.
