Synchronization
Synchronization of the respiratory cycle with the
CT scan can be achieved in 2 different ways:
Retrospectively Gated Reconstruction
Helical scan where images are reconstructed at
any desired respiratory phase after the scan is
completed. Allows for reconstruction of multiple
phases. Requires very low pitch.
