Freezing of motion of organs in CT
The first step is to use a device that records the
periodic motion of the organ of interest.
For the heart the ECG can be conveniently used.
For the lungs cameras in combination with
markers on chest of the patient can be used; an
alternative are straps around the chest of the
patient.
