SACRAMENTO COOLER
Beat up an egg, together with a teaspoon
of confectioners' sugar and the juice of half
a lemon. Pour this into a tall glass and fill
up with cider, stiring well as you add the
cider. Grate some nutmeg over the top.
INDIA COOLER
Put several cubes of ice into a tall glass.
Add the juice of a lime, one jigger of French
vermouth and a jigger of gin. Fill the glass
with club soda or White Rock.
