Engagements
Greaves/Smith – Jonathan
Robert Greaves (A, 1994–1999) and
Victoria Smith will be married in
September 2012 in Gloucestershire.
Green/Good – Richard
Green (A, 1994–1999) is engaged
to Melanie Good (D, 1996-
1998). Rick reports that that he
“proposed to Mel on Christmas
day evening in the living room
in front of the Christmas tree,
scrabbling around on the floor
pretending to look for a “lost”
present that turned out to be in my
pocket all along... cheesy to say the
least, but she said yes and here we
are!” Richard and Melanie hope to
be married at Teddies in late May
or early June 2013.
Hopkins/Davis – Peter
Thomas Brian Hopkins (D, 1988–
1993) was recently engaged to
Elizabeth Davis daughter of
Veronica and Peter Davis (E, 1960–
1965). The wedding will be held on
5th May 2012 at St James Church,
Old Milverton, Leamington Spa.
Jonckheer/Coull – Alex
Jacques Jonckheer (E, 1992-1997)
and Alison Coull are to be married
on 5th October 2012 at St Mary’s
Church, Woburn.
Marsh/Yarrow – Nicholas
Drayson Marsh (B, 1997–2002)
was engaged to Emma Catherine
Yarrow (K, 1997–2002) in May
2011. They are to be married in
Spring 2012 in Berkshire.
Pellereau/Fawcus –
Thomas Robert Etien Pellereau
(C, 1992–1997) was engaged to
Sarah Fawcus in 2011. They will
be married in 2012.
Robertson/Nelson –
Claire Emma Nelson (J, 1999–
2001) and Toby Robertson will
marry in Argyll in April 2012.
Claire works in corporate finance
for Matrix Corporate Capital as
protégé of fellow OSE, Stephen
Mischler (B,1964–1969) and
alongside Edmund Glover (H,
1996–2001).
Marriages
Adams/Bottomley– Henry
William Turner Adams (B, 1993–
1998) married Laura Bottomley
(former CR) in December 2011.
Allen/Hodgkinson–
On 17 September 2011 Charles
Alexander Allen (H, 1995–2000)
married Katharine Hodkinson
in North Otterington, North
Yorkshire. The service was
officiated by Revd David Wippell
(SES Society Hon. Chaplain and
Vice President of SES Society
2011/12) with a large contingent of
over 20 OSE in attendance.
Andrewes/Branson–
Frederick Christopher Andrewes
(C, 1995–2000) and Holly Katie
Templeman Branson (J, 1998–
2000) were married on Necker
Island, British Virgin Islands on
21st December 2011. A large
group of OSE were in attendance
as shown in the photograph above.
Bencard/Ferrera– Piers
Johann David Bencard (G, 1979–
1982) was married to Ellen Lee
Ferrara from St Louis, Missouri
on 15th September 2011. Piers is
currently employed as Manager–
Risk Assurance Services for HMG
at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP
in London.
