Mini-Circuits’ High

Directivity MMIC Amplifier, 0.5

to 2.5GHz

Mini-Circuits’ VNA-28B+ is a high-

directivity MMIC amplifier covering

a wide range of applications

from 0.5 to 2.5GHz. This model

provides 23dB gain, P1dB up to

+11.4dBm, 3 dB noise figure. High

directivity from 16 to 23 dB makes

it an excellent low-cost isolator for

minimizing interaction between

circuits. Manufactured using PHEMT

technology, the VNA-28B+ has built-

in DC blocks at its input and output

and a separate lead for DC current. It

operates on a single 2.8 to 5V supply

and comes housed in a 5x6mm QFN

a 75Ω 2-way 0° surface-mount

splitter/combiner covering the 5

to 1500MHz frequency range,

supporting bandwidth requirements

for DOCSIS

®

3.1 systems and

equipment, as well as other

broadband applications. This model

can handle up to 0.5W RF input

power as a splitter and provides,

0.8dB insertion loss, 0.25dB

amplitude unbalance, and 1.5° phase

unbalance. It features core and wire

construction mounted on a six-lead

plastic base (0.16x0.15x0.16”) with

Mini-Circuits’ TopHat® feature to

improve speed and accuracy of pick

and place assembly. This design

requires external capacitors for

impedance matching and cycling

isolation between the output signals.

Mini-Circuits’ Low Noise

Bypass Amplifier, 0.5-5GHz

Mini-Circuits’ TSS-53LNB3+ ultra-

wideband, low noise bypass amplifier

covers a wide range of applications

from 0.5 to 5GHz and provides

18.4dB gain with ±0.7dB flatness

over the 700 to 2100MHz band, ideal

for broadband and multi-band usage.

An internal switchable bypass circuit

bypasses the LNA in the presence

of high signal power, protecting

the amplifier and extending usable

dynamic range. This model provides

an outstanding combination of

+15.1dBm output power, +24 dBm

IP3 in thru-mode, +28 dBm IP3

in bypass mode, and 1.5dB noise

figure. It operates on a 3V supply

with low current consumption (42mA

in thru-mode and just 2mA in bypass

mode) and comes in a tiny 3x3mm

MCLP package.
