A ll lovers of fi ne Rhines know that the best is produced in

what the German s term the Rheingau, a region of hill s on the

right bank of the Rhine. A ll Rhine W ines possess marked

chemical characteristics ; they contain very little sugar, and the

proportion o f alco hol rarely exceeds twelve parts in a

hundred ;"'~

hence, they are of g reat value medicinally.
