HALF-YEARLY GENERAL MEETING.
The Half-yearly General Meeting of the
Society was held in the Hall of the Society,
Solicitors' Buildings, Four Courts, Dublin,
on Monday, the 26th November. The chair
was occupied by the President (Mr. James J.
Lynch), and the following members were

The Secretary read the notice convening
the meeting, also the minutes of the General
Meeting of 16th May, 1934, which were
signed by the Chairman.
The Chairman, with the consent of the
Meeting, signed the audited accounts of the
Society for the year ending 30th April, 1934.
The Secretary read the Report of the
Scrutineers of the Ballot for Council, which
stated that the following had been returned
unopposed as Provincial Delegates : Ulster,
John Gillespie ; Munster, A. J. Blood-Smyth;
Leinster, Daniel O'Connell;
Connaught,
Christopher E. Callan. That for the thirty-
one Ordinary Members of the Council the
following had been elected, and received the

THE PRESIDENT, addressing the meet–
ing, said :
Gentlemen, in moving the adoption of the
Annual Report of the Council I would refer
with much regret to the death of Mr. Charles
Battley, a former member of the Council,
which has taken place since the date of our
Report.
I have already referred at the
meeting of the Society held last May to the
deaths of other past members of the Council,
which are recorded in our Report.
