Determination of chloride in all forms of infant, adult, and/or pediatric 
formula (powders, ready‐to‐feed liquids, and liquid concentrates
). 
Rationale: 
Choride is present in infant formula naturally but fortification may be
made using various salts, e.g. NaCl, KCl, MgCl
2,
CaCl
2.
Implications: 
Candidate methods must recover all forms of chloride ion.
