Cole Harris – 275 Hours – Principle relationship for Summit Medical Group. Will oversee the team’s
functions for the agreement, attend and present at any requested decision meetings, and provide the
framework for the future direction of the benefits program.
Lou Amato – 125 Hours –Benefit Strategist with over 30 years in healthcare. Provides consulting pertaining
to claims management within the provider organization to maximize overall cost containment.
Fred Schremp – 100 Hours – Financial Strategist working with the Actuarial and Underwriting team to
provide monthly financial reports and data analytics.
David Rubadue, FSA, MAAA, CLU – 40 Hours – Head of the Actuarial department tasked with the feasibility
of alternate types of funding within the insurance plan.
Ronald Deterding – 200 Hours – Head Underwriter involved in the monthly financial reporting and
negotiating on renewals with carriers based on utilization.
Joseph Shorter – 200 Hours – Financial Analyst working with Ronald on the monthly reporting and
negotiations of the renewal process.
LaTonia McGinnis – 40 Hours – Wellbeing expert working in combination with the team to provide
compliance, strategy, and communication consulting as it pertains to your wellness program.
Karen McLeese – 10 Hours – CBIZ employed ERISA Attorney keeping clients up-to-date on compliance and
Health Care Reform updates. Also, involved with any outside-the-box arrangements to ensure compliance.
Mike Zucarelli, Pharm D – 40 Hours - Pharmacist employed by CBIZ to provide Pharmacy Benefit
Management and Consulting to Summit and team. Dissects a Pharmacy contract to maximize discounts and
rebates, while also consulting on best practices for formulary design.
Kari Presley – 250 Hours – Manages the annual timeline, three-year strategy, service team, renewal process,
and is involved in high-level claims issues.
Kelly Abbott – 40 Hours – Marketing and leveraging of carriers for Summit
Andrew Morris – 50 Hours – Communication creation specialist
Service Team – 150 Hours – Team of CBIZ employees whom provide advocacy for the Summit Medical
Group employees on claims, benefit questions, ID card requests, and open enrollment transition
The lead CBIZ contact for Summit Medical Group will be at a local level with Cole Harris. Kari Presley will be the
main Account Manager to provide day-to-day direction of the required work.
