Jamaica.

"A mint julep to be at its best must be prepared by the lov

ing hands of a Southern gentleman or gentlewoman.

"A Singapore gin sling cannot be slung together by any

bartender. It must be fondled and delicately adjusted.

"With careful study and constant practice a real Singapore

gin sling may be created," writes Mr. Hough,"by following the

foregoing directions."
