named Norah Rayne Adams. After a year-and-a-half living
in the U.K.,
Lindsay Grand
Anstett moved back to Toronto;
in February 2017, she welcomed a baby girl named Everly
Carolyn Anstett. Lindsay and her family have since moved
to Washington, D.C.
Kristina Valjas
represented Canada
in beach volleyball at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. She
continues to train and has her sights set on the next four
years. Congrats, Kristina, we could not be more proud of
you!

Stephanie Applin
is doing a master’s in culture, policy
and management at City, University of London (U.K.).
Cicely Arthur
is working as a clinician in children’s mental
health with the NHS in Oxford, U.K. She cycles to explore
the countryside every chance she gets!
Kate (Katie)
Karfilis
completed her PhD in biology from the University
of Oregon, and now works for a genomics company in San
Francisco.
Bertha Luk
is in her fifth year of practising
general dentistry in downtown Toronto with a focus on
preventive, biological and cosmetic dentistry. She has
picked up Pilates tomaintain good posture andmindfulness
during long hours at work and has been swimming and
playing tennis since her Havergal days. Bertha is also an
aunt! Debbie (Class of 2000) has just given birth to her
third child.
Laura Vermander
married Rob Williams at her
parents’ house in Collingwood; Sarah Selke Pantelidis was
her maid of honour and Vanessa Rambihar was one of her
bridesmaids.
Sarah Selke Pantelidis
is taking maternity
leave after giving birth to her daughter Scarlett Grace and,
afterwards, plans to return to her family medicine practice
and subspecialty in environmental health.
Vanessa Rambihar
is the associate program director
and lecturer for University of Toronto’s family medicine
residency program and is practising as a family physician
with a focus on prevention at Women’s College Hospital.
She is a member of the World Economic Forum Global
Shaper’s Toronto Hub, which empowers young adults
in the GTA.
Martha Pierce
will marry Conrad Seguin in
Toronto in September.
Jennifer Youannou
married Andy
