Rivet hole reamer

Design:

HSS, DIN 2179 with left spiral approx. 45°. The uneven tooth pitch ensure chatter-

free and accurate drilling. With cylinder shank. Bright surface.

Application:

For reaming conical holes for taper pins according to DIN 1, DIN 258, DIN 1447,

DIN 7977 and DIN 7978. Perfectly suited for single and serial production. Optimum angle

accuracy for the reamed hole when using a floating reamer chuck. Pre-drill with a pin drill

(order no. 1052).

Particularly suitable for steels up to 500 N/mm

2

in strength such as non-ferrous metals,

plastics, steels up to 1000 N/mm

2

amd casting materials.

Design:

HSS, DIN 311, with approx. 25° left spirals and long, conical point 1:10. The uneven

tooth pitch ensure chatter-free and accurate drilling. With morse taper shank. Bright surface.

Application:

For correcting too small and offset holes. Particularly suitable for steel materials

such as general construction steels, machine steels, tempered steels, case-hardening steels,

tool steels, high speed steels, casting iron, nodular graphite iron and malleable cast iron, and

soft non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and brass.
