Cutting Tools
Design:
Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type H, according to company
standard, 30°,
Signum-coated,
with centre cut.
Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools.
Dry machining possible.
Application:
Can be used for copy milling. The neck chip channel
makes optimum tool range possible and thus makes it suitable for
mould-making applications. The tool life increases with minimum
quantity lubrication or air cooling. The tool can either be used with
a pivoted or straight spindle. Suitable for HSC machining
up to 62 HRC
.
Note:
Copy milling; cutting values preferred at ap = 0.05 x d
1
and ae = 0.1 x d
