Mr. Mooney served his apprenticeship with Mr.

James J. Mooney, 26 Cook Street, Cork, was

admitted in Trinity Sittings 1913 and practised as

partner in the firm o f Messrs. Babington Clarke

& Mooney, Cork up to his retirement in 1932

through ill-health.

Mr. Nix served his apprenticeship with Mr.

James P. Coghlan, New Ross, was admitted in

Easter Sittings 1936 and practised at New Ross.

the 15th September, 1953.

Mr. Orpen served his apprenticeship with the

late Mr. Arthur H. Orpen, 33 Anglesea Street,

Dublin, was admitted in Hilary Sittings 1898 and

practised as senior partner in the firm o f Messrs.

Orpen & Sweeney, 11 St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin.

He was a member of the Council o f this Society

from the year 1912 to 1939, Vice-President for the

year 19 15-1916 and President o f the Society for the

year 1924-1925.
