late certificate must be produced to

a report from a Committee on a submission

to arbitration, the Council held that a lease of

property for a term o f 99 years, at a fine o f £ 1,0 10

subject to the yearly rent o f £50, the lease contain­

ing a covenant by the lessee to expend not less

than £2,000 in the erection of buildings, was

substantially a sale, and that in accordance with the

decision o f Mr. Justice Dixon in Simms-Clarke

v. Ilet Ltd., reported in the Society’s
