The story started back in 1896 when the inno-

vative Price Brothers founded their earthen-

ware manufacturing company in Crown Works,

Burslem, specialising in tabletop accessories and

teapots. The brothers quickly became renowned

for their distinctive designs. Through their hard

work and dedication the Price Brothers brand saw

rapid success and in 1934 they moved to the Top

Bridge Works in Longport, where they became

known as Price Bros Ltd. During their time at the

Top Bridge Works the brothers developed a strong

working bond with Kensington Potteries, who

specialised in novelty teapots. This bond grew so

strong that two companies eventually merged in

1962 to become known as Price and Kensington.

Rich in heritage and passionate about table top

accessories and teapots, the Price & Kensington

brand continues to flourish in the Rayware fami-

ly. Whilst teapots remain the heart of the product

range and continue to be in great demand in

our diverse and contemporary catering market,

mugs, cups, and high end tea accessories are all

here to complete the package

The Ravenhead glass factory was founded in

1842 St Helens, England by Frances Dixon.

The family run business expanded rapidly and

was passed down from father to son for three

generations.

Primarily producing bottles, Ravenhead branched

out into domestic tableware such as bowls, jugs

and drinking glasses in the 1930s. Between 1960

and 1990, it designed many iconic glasses for the

bar and catering industry.

Single-handedly changing the perception of

glass from a functional item, to a fashionable

statement for the kitchen and home, Ravenhead

continues to pioneer solutions within the

glasswares industry. High profile designers

such as Alexander Hardy Richardson shaped

the Ravenhead range, producing iconic designs

which are still well recognised today.

We offer diverse and contemporary glassware,
