in the Fire Department’s Standard of Coverage. The Town currently has a parcel of

property at the Kit Creek/Louis Stephens Drive intersection that was donated by the Cisco

developer for a fire station. If not used for this purpose, the property ownership reverts to

Cisco. In order to determine whether this parcel of property can accommodate the Fire

Department needs for an approximate 12,000 square foot fire station, survey,

geotechnical, environmental, and site access/general layout evaluation and assessment

needs to be completed before a preliminary project design can be developed.

Construction would require additional funding. This fire station would utilize equipment

and staff from the current Fire Station #3 (co-located with Cary Fire Station #7). This

project is considered a potential bond referendum project.

CIP Reserve

Indian Creek Greenway Connector to Town Hall Terraces:

This trail would

connect the Town Hall Terraces neighborhood to Indian Creek Greenway near the

intersection of Garden Square Lane and Airport Boulevard. A portion of the greenway

was constructed during development of the neighborhood; this project would complete

the greenway. This project is included in the updated Comprehensive Transportation

Plan.
