Using the City Seal
The City seal is authorized by Section 1.01 of the City Charter; it is to be affixed to official City
documents, such as contracts, proclamations and letterhead for the Mayor and City Council. The
seal can also be used on bills, parking notices/tickets, water/sewer notices, nuisance abatement
notices, demolition notices, lien notices, and other legal documents. With the City‟s permission,
it may also be used with projects co-sponsored by the City. For permission to use the seal,
contact Jim Collins, Public Affairs, at 373-2105 or
jim.collins@greensboro-nc.gov .The seal
should be printed in either Pantone (PMS) 349 Green or in Black.
