Algebraic Reconstructions

The algorithm is very flexible and allows, for example, to weight each projection

according to how reliable it is, remembering that when very few photons are measured,

the signal to noise ratio of the projection decreases.

This variation of the algorithm is known as penalized weighted least suqare error

(PWLS):
