PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is to design and construct a carbon feed system at both water
treatment plants for the purpose of reducing the formation of disinfection
by-products (DBP's). The use of Powder Activated Carbon (PAC slurry) is a very
effective means to reduce them prior to the distribution system point of entry.
System will help meet regualtory requirements / limits for the level of DBP's
entering the distribution system.
