Landlord and Tenant Commission
It was decided to send a memorandum to the
Department of Justice, suggesting that the Land
lord and Tenant Bill should contain a section
abolishing the common law rule that a lessee is
liable for the lessor's costs, and that the section
should contain a provision against contracting
out.
Location of Estate Duty Office
It was reported that following representations
made by the Society the proposal to transfer the
Estate Duty Office to Griffith Barracks has been
