All items are shipped FOB (freight on board), i.e. freight charges included) from our warehouse. Always inspect shipments for obvious signs of damage prior to signing for delivery with courier or common carrier. Ownership of the items shipped passes to the customer once signed for. If the shipment arrives in a damaged condition, please refer to our Damaged Goods Policy. All orders will be shipped “freight prepaid” and chargeable via the carrier of our choice unless otherwise specified by the customer at the time of ordering. A small insurance cost may also be added to protect your investment in the unlikely event of damage or loss. Damaged or missing equipment from a shipment must be reported to H+K within 24 hours of delivery. If you wish to return goods to us for credit, we will be happy to accept them under the following conditions: Call 1-800-387-5863 to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number from one of our customer Service Representatives. You will be asked to provide the H+K part number and description for the items you wish to return. Please return the corresponding items; do not return items that were not authorized under the issued RMA. You may be asked to provide the original invoice number under which the items were purchased. • Goods must be returned in an unused, undamaged, and resalable condition with the RMA number prominently displayed on the outside of the package. • For defective items, please refer to our damaged Goods Policy Returning Merchandise Goods must be returned to us within ten (10) days of original purchase

• Returned goods must be in their original packaging • A restocking fee of 25% of the item’s price may be applicable. • “Special” non-inventory items may not be returned. • H+K does not accept C.O.D. or “Freight Collect” shipments. Shipping fees for all packages being returned must be prepaid. Any package that does not prominently display the RMA number on the outside of the carton will be refused and returned to the customer. Defective Parts Return In the event that you should receive a defective item, please contact H+K Customer Service immediately to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for this item at 1-800-387-5863. If you should need the item replaced, H+K will ship a replacement item for which you will be invoiced. The defective item must be shipped back to H+K, freight prepaid, with the RMA prominently displayed on the outside of the carton. Upon our receipt and confirmation of the defective item, H+K will issue a credit to your account for the defective item. Please note that some items may be subject to an inspection by the manufacturer to eliminate the possibility of improper handling or misuse.

Damaged Goods Policy

Upon receipt of a shipment that is obviously damaged, you MUST refuse the shipment. DO NOT SIGN FOR IT. Immediately notify H+K Customer Service at 1-800-387-5863 and report the incident. If, upon opening an apparently undamaged shipment, you should find “concealed damage”, be sure to keep all packaging materials with the original carton and damaged product. Call the delivering carrier or courier within 24 hours and arrange an inspection of the damaged goods. Contact H+K Customer Service immediately to report the incident. H+K Canada warrants its manufactured products one (1) year from the date of delivery for parts and workmanship, on condition that the products were properly installed, operated, and maintained. H+K refrigeration systems are warranted for thirty (30) days against leaks and defects in workmanship. H+K is not liable for loss, damages, repairs, or expenses arising from the misuse or improper installation of its products by unauthorized parties. This warranty covers all H+K manufactured products unless otherwise indicated on the purchase agreement, in which case the warranty is null and void. Items such as switches, motors, controls, or components which H+K does not manufacture are warranted to the extent of the original manufacturer’s warranty. H+K Canada Fabricated Equipment Warranty
