Company History 1946
Brothers-in-law, Henry Kaye and Jack Gold come to the USA.
They start The Madelaine Chocolate Company.
Spurred on by their extensive knowledge of the industry they decide to create and supply their own shapes using superior -tasting Peter’s Chocolate.
Inspired to make Holiday shaped chocolates, Henry and Jack begin producing mini chocolate eggs in brightly-colored foils.
The company moves from Brooklyn to its current location in Rockaway Beach, NY.
Over the next several decades the company expands its product line and capabilities.
The company is devastated by Hurricane Sandy and has to shut its doors for 9 months.
In July, The company restarts production.
As the company approaches its 70th year, it is manufacturing chocolates with state of the art molding and foiling equipment. They have restored and expanded their product line to exceed pre-Sandy levels.

The Chocolate American produced, Swiss formulated chocolate using the finest bean selection and made with fresh milk. The Molds Designed for all seasons with intricate detail. Vast variety of shapes and sizes. The Foils Produced in Italy using the highest quality material and Rotogravure process. Exquisite designs and bright, light catching colors.

Line molding capacities range from 8,000 pounds to 60,000 pounds per day using liquid and block chocolate.
Foiling capacities range from 60 pieces/min. to 1,200 pieces/min.
*The difference between our products and items is that 50% of the volume is chocolate, which provides thicker walls and significantly more resistance to breakage. semi-solid hollow
Over 1 million Easter eggs produced in a day.
