Raw data – Method accuracy

The samples were freshly prepared for each spiking experiment. The spiking was performed by the

addition of 1% GOS solution to the product so that the GOS concentration in the product would be 0.2,

1.0, 2.5 and 5.0 g/100 g. Since the samples were not reconstituted prior to analyses, the actual GOS

concentration calculated on reconstitution were 0.02, 0.1, 0.3 and 0.6 g/100 g (i.e. a factor 9 lower).
