Modular machines
for versatility
Sheng Chyean’s versatile combined drawing machines process coils up to 60mm or
draw from bar to bar. All combined drawing machines are equipped with linear guides
for drawing the cartridge to maximise performance and offer easy maintenance. Fly
shears are servo-motorised with a tolerance below 5mm. Most Sheng Chyean products
are manufactured in modules for easy modification to suit the client’s need. Clients also
can choose their own preferred electronic control system, since the mains power and
control power are separate.
The company’s product range includes combined drawing machines, peeling machines,
2-roll vertical straighteners, chamfering machines and other steel work related
machines.
Peeling machine – has a working diameter of 20mm to 130mm. This machine can be
highly customised to meet individual needs and can be used as a coil to bar, coil to coil
or bar to bar type. Chamfering machines – for facing and chamfering up to 4 ends at the
same time. 2-roll vertical straightener – processes up to 100mm with an optimised roller
curve to achieve the best straightness and surface.

Strikeguard bow for
steel wire
Kamatics
manufactures
compression
moulded composite flyer bows for
bunchers, cablers and twinners. The
Kamatics design incorporates carbon
fibreglass or Kevlar fibres in an epoxy
matrix to enhance its dynamic properties.
The flyer bows can be retrofitted to
tubular and cable type machines. The
bows are offered as components or fully
assembled with carbon steel wear strips,
tungsten carbide or ceramic guides and
all associated hardware. Sizes range from
0.062" to 1" thick, up to 4" wide and 18
feet in length, both in flat and pre-curved
states.
The new StrikeGuard carbon fibre
bow was created specifically for steel
wire manufacturers to address the
performance issues related to the
conventional flyer bow and wire strikes
that would degrade the conventional
design prematurely.
